Human Service Center is a not-for-profit community agency that provides mental health and substance abuse treatment services for those in need within our community. This position requires a master's degree in clinical/counseling psychology or social work, and the ability to become a licensed LPC or LSW within 2 years of employment. In addition, the ideal candidate will have experience in chemical dependency environment. An engaging personality, a willingness to be flexible, and outstanding organizational and communication skills are a must. This position will work with the Program Manager to provide various tasks for the program, including supervision to paraprofessional members of the team. Must be willing and able to work with a diverse population. Requires computer knowledge and a familiarity with Windows environment as well as knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Hours need to be flexible, but are primarily Monday - Friday, first shift, some evening or weekend hours. Job will start sometime in September. Must pass an Illinois criminal fingerprint background check.
